War

All’s fair in love and war. Go head to head with the dealer and take home all the booty that comes with War. It’s you versus the dealer; your card versus his. There is one deck that is reshuffled after every hand dealt.

How to Play

The player selects the amount they would like to wager ($1, $5, $25, $100 and $500. Maximum wager is $500) and clicks Deal. If the player’s card is higher, they are paid 1:1 odds. If not, the dealer wins.

Things get interesting if the player’s card matches the dealer’s. It means they have the option to go to war. If you want to go to war, click War to double your ante. The player and the dealer receive three cards face down (they do not come into play) and one face up. The player with a higher face up card wins the war. Another tie is a win for the player.

If you do not wish to go to war, click Fold and your ante is returned to you.

Rules

• The player wins if the player’s card is ranked higher than the dealer's card.
• The dealer wins if the dealer's card outranks the player's card.
• Suits have no value.
• Cards are ordered lowest to highest: 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, jack, queen, king, ace.

Payout

• The payout for a single card win is 1:1.
• The payout for a War win is 1:1 and the ante bet returned.

Buttons

• Deal -Deals the player’s cards once the bet is placed. Once they click Deal all bets are final.
• War - An opportunity to double the player’s original ante if they choose to go to war.
• Fold - To avoid going to war and have the player’s ante returned.]
• Rebet - When a hand is complete, the player has the option to rebet the same amount previously bet.
