Game Description

Live Dealer Super 6

Table games don’t have to be complicated. Super 6 is as simple as betting on one of three wagers: the Banker, Player or Tie. If you’ve ever played baccarat, you’ll be familiar with the rules of Super 6, which give a positional advantage to the Banker. But unlike baccarat, there’s no 5% commission deducted from the Banker payouts. On top of that, you get the option of betting on five side bets that can get you up to 30:1 your bet. With the Live Dealer function, you get the added benefit of having a real person deal the cards; feel free to chat with the Dealers and other players too. It’s all part of the Live Dealer experience.

How to Play Super 6

A round of Super 6 consists of making a primary bet on the Banker or the Player, or a Tie between the two of them. Keep in mind, the Dealer moves through the actions for both hands based on a set of rules, so you’re not actually making decisions – other than deciding which side to bet on. When deciding where to place your bets, you’ll want to consider the unique payouts offered for each side as well as the win probabilities.

In addition to the primary bet, you can also make secondary bets. Super 6 is quite popular with players who enjoy making side bets. Here are the five options for your side bets:

  • Super 6 Side Bet: Bet that the Banker will win with a score of 6 for a 12:1 payout. This bet complements the decreased payout that comes from a Banker win by a score of 6. For more information on payouts, see below.
  • Dragon Bonus Side Bet: This bet is available for both the Banker and Player. Bet on the hand winning by either a Natural (8 or 9 points) or by 4 or more points.
  • Banker Pair Side Bet: Bet that the Banker will receive a pair (two cards of equal rank) in his initial two-card hand.
  • Player Pair Side Bet: Bet that the Player will receive a pair (two cards of equal rank) in his initial two-card hand. An example of a pair is 3c,3h.
  • Either Pair Side Bet: Bet that either the Player or Banker will receive a pair in their initial two-card hand.

The Dealer will announce when the time is up for placing bets and begin the round by dealing two cards to the Player and two cards to the Banker; the cards are placed face up on the table. A third card may be drawn for either hand according to a set of rules. The hand with the higher score wins, and if both hands have the same score, the Tie wins.

Third Card Rules for Live Dealer Super 6

If either the Player or Banker have a score of 8 or 9 on the initial deal, the hand is considered a Natural and wins immediately.

Player Rules
The Player hand stands with a score of 6 or higher. If the Player has a hand of 5 or less, he draws a third card.

Banker Rules
The Banker follows the same guidelines as the Player (standing on 5 or less and drawing on 6 or higher) only when the Player stands. If the Player draws a third card, the Banker bases his move on the Player’s third card. The column on the left represents the Banker’s score; compare it with the Player’s third card at the top row in order to see what move the Banker will make.

Super 6 Payouts

Standard Payouts
Both the Player and Banker wins are paid 1:1, but when the Banker wins with a score of 6, the payout is reduced to 1:2 (50% of your bet). The Tie pays 8:1.

Side Bet Payouts
The Super 6 side bet pays 12:1 when the Banker wins with a score of 6. This Insurance type bet offsets the reduced payment for Banker wins with scores of 6.

The Dragon Bonus side bet pays 1:1 when the hand you bet wins via a Natural. The payment for a hand that wins by 4 or more wins follows a scale, with bigger win margins resulting in bigger payouts. For example, a 9-point win margin pays 30:1. For the full details on the pay range, please see the Dragon Payout tab on the right side of the game screen.

Both the Player Pair and Banker Pair pay 11:1 when the selected hand gets two cards of equal rank in the initial deal.

Either Pair pays 5:1 when either the Player or Banker get dealt two cards of equal value right away.

Super 6 Card Values

Super Six is played with a six-deck shoe, and the card values are the same as in baccarat.

  • Cards Two through Nine are worth face value.
  • Face cards and Tens are worth zero.
  • Aces are worth 1 point.

In cases where the score in a hand exceeds 9 points, the first digit is dropped in order to ensure that the score is never more than one digit. For example, a score of 15 would drop the “1” and become a score of 5 points.

Super 6 is a solid game to test out live dealer action with. It’s simple, fun, and has the potential to pay big if you delve into the side bets. Try it today at Bodog Casino.
